Resin Incense Mastix (Greece)

Element of Air – connection with spirit. This evergreen bush secretes small drops of resin, which is being collected and dried. It is a traditional component in many kinds of church incense. The characteristic effects are contracting and enhancing (inner viewing, meditating, contemplating, prayers). Resin from the Pistachio tree – awakening and viewing, clarifying, purifying, heart-opening and enhancing equanimity. “Contacting the Self”. These kinds of incense are to be used in purifying rituals, like eliminating negative forces which block the flow of energy, in living areas as well as in a person's aura. Also an excellent incense for rituals of witchcraft and shamans.

To be used in charcoal burners, and on our special incense burner sieves. In those burners, the burning process will be slower than on charcoal. You may readily mix this incense with other kinds, provided you will use a slightly larger burner.
Available are also a fitting pair of tongs to safely kindle the charcoal, another pincer for picking up the sieve, a wire brush for cleaning the sieve, and a wild turkey feather for dispersing the scent. A separate 125 mm sieve will fit fine on one of our oil burners when the cup is removed.
